Introducing The Blacklist Heroes

The Blacklist Heroes all hail from the general DC Metro area, to include Northern Virginia and Southern Maryland. They know how society sees them, but more importantly, they know that everybody loves a good underdog story. Even though the only thing they have in common is the wrong choices they've made in the past, can they come together as a team and make a clean Escape?

So I'm a bit of a smartass. Isn't everyone? You can't tell me that you've never heard somebody talk and made a snarky little comment to yourself. I just make mine out loud. My dad says I was born a wise guy. He also says my mom and I are the best thing that ever happened to him. Then why did I decide it would be a good idea to start breaking into people's houses and helping myself to their belongings? Because I can. It's all about the thrill, right?

I'm a good girl. No really, I am. Not everybody on this show is some hardened criminal with a rep sheet as long as the Potomac river. Some of us just took a few detours to where we wanted to get. Like me. I wasn't trying to cause trouble when I started conning people. I just wanted to make a little extra money to help out my mom with bills and stuff, give me and my brother a little spending money. Maybe I got carried away. But you always own up to your mistakes, it's the only way you'll grow.

They say I have anger issues. Screw 'em. I know what I want, and I'm going after it. If you get in my way, I may punch you in the throat. I just know how to take care of myself, you know? Growing up with two older brothers, you learn how to defend yourself when everything's against you. Maybe that's why my parents say I'm troubled and express myself through aggression. You know what? Screw them too.

I'm trying to be positive about this. I always wanted to leave Alexandria. It's one of those places people always come to, they never leave it. So how are you supposed to know what's out in the rest of the world? And it's not like I'm completely on my own. Iris is going to be there with me every step of the way, hovering like some overprotective mama...animal of some kind. I think this is a good thing. We're getting a chance to start over, to make something more of our lives. I'm all for it.

My story's not profound or inspiring. I'm just here to make the most of an opportunity, I'll stick around as long as I can, then I'll go do my thing.
